Driver killed in fiery crash in Seal Beach

SEAL BEACH A driver was killed early Friday in a fiery single-vehicle crash in Seal Beach, according to authorities.
The crash was reported around 1:50 a.m. on Interstate 405 south of Seal Beach Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The woman driving a 2002 Mercedes for an unknown reason made an unsafe turn, left the roadway and collided with a pole causing the vehicle to catch fire, said the CHP. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
