The new year is just a few days away, and while many are making arrangements to party, some agencies are planning for tipsy party-goers’ safe arrivals home.
Orange County law-enforcement departments will be on high alert as they watch for impaired drivers, too.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 29 people died in crashes in the state during three days last year that included New Year’s Eve and Day, while more than 750 were arrested for driving under the influence.
