Dodgers still see Corey Seager’s future at shortstop despite summer of surgeries

OAKLAND — Corey Seager has had two major surgeries in the past three months – two more than most 24-year-old shortstops.
Three months into his recovery from Tommy John surgery on his right elbow, Seager underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair the labrum in his left hip Tuesday. The Dodgers insist the dual surgeries should not affect Seager’s ability to get ready for the 2019 season.
