Dodgers set to start 2021 season on the road

For the first time in five years, the Dodgers will start their regular season away from home, according to a preliminary 2021 schedule released Thursday by Major League Baseball.
The Dodgers are slated to play the Colorado Rockies on April 1, 2021. Their first home game is scheduled for April 9 against the Washington Nationals. That homestand concludes April 15, giving the Dodgers their traditional home date when Jackie Robinson Day is observed by all 30 MLB teams.
