Dodgers select hard-throwing high school right-hander J.T. Ginn with first-round pick
The Dodgers made Mississippi high school right-hander J.T. Ginn their first-round pick in this year’s draft Monday.
The Dodgers took Ginn with the 30th pick overall. In the second round, the Dodgers took another right-handed pitcher with the 68th pick overall – Michael Grove. Grove did not pitch at all last year at West Virginia after undergoing Tommy John surgery following his sophomore season.
