Dodgers promote Will Smith, whose major league debut was years in the making

LOS ANGELES – Will Smith’s arrival at Dodger Stadium was not sudden. He got into the tail end of a Freeway Series exhibition game here in April 2017, then did so again last March. In between he attended a rookie development camp and an off-season workout program.
