Dodgers place Corey Seager (hamstring) on the IL

LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers officially placed Corey Seager on the Injured List on Thursday with the expectation that he will miss much more than the minimum 10 days.
An MRI taken Wednesday confirmed Seager suffered a left hamstring strain during the ninth inning of Tuesday’s loss to the Angels. The exam pegged the injury as a Grade 1 to 2 strain, slightly less severe than the preliminary diagnosis Tuesday night.
