Dodgers place Clayton Kershaw on the DL with biceps tendinitis

MONTERREY, NL, Mexico — The Dodgers placed left-hander Clayton Kershaw on the DL Sunday with biceps tendinitis.
Kershaw left the team in Mexico and headed home to Los Angeles where he was scheduled to be examined by Dr. Neal ElAttrache later in the day. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the team was “cautiously optimistic” but wouldn’t really know what to expect going forward until after ElAttrache’s examination.
