Dodgers Notes: Adrian Gonzalez is adapting to injuries
LOS ANGELES — Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez went the entire month of April without hitting a home run. Gonzalez, who turns 35 on Monday, had never played a full month’s worth of games without hitting a home run in 14 major league seasons.
As the calendar turned to May, the team hadn’t ruled out putting Gonzalez on the 10-day disabled list because of nagging forearm and back injuries. But Gonzalez has never been on the disabled list and would prefer to keep it that way.
