Dodgers’ Max Muncy persevering through a rough final month

SAN DIEGO — The past month has not been easy for Max Muncy.
He took a 95-mph fastball off his right wrist on Aug. 28, suffering a slight fracture. He returned to action just 16 days later but found himself running a pitching gauntlet – the starters in his first four games back were Noah Syndergaard, Jacob deGrom, Zack Wheeler and Blake Snell.
