Dodgers manager Dave Roberts reaches agreement on four-year contract extension

LOS ANGELES – After on-and-off negotiations that lasted uncomfortably long, the Dodgers have reached agreement on a four-year contract extension with manager Dave Roberts.
Roberts’ club option for 2019 was picked up at the deadline last month. The new deal includes that year and will keep Roberts as manager of the Dodgers through the 2022 season.
