Dodgers hit seven home runs in extra-innings victory over Mets
NEW YORK – What do you do when six home runs isn’t enough? Hit a seventh.
The Dodgers’ first five hits Sunday were home runs. They hit six in the first eight innings, all solo homers, but needed a seventh home run – Justin Turner’s solo shot with two outs in the 11th inning – to beat the New York Mets 8-7 at Citi Field.
