PHILADELPHIA — Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was not happy with his closer Wednesday.
Kenley Jansen was struck by a comebacker in the ninth inning Tuesday night while trying to protect a two-run lead. He waved off a trainer immediately after the play but gave up four straight hits to lose the game. Afterward, he told reporters that his delivery was compromised by the pain in his right ankle and “I should have come out of the game.”
