Dodgers’ A.J. Pollock ‘resting and recovering’ after surgery with no timeline for return yet

SAN DIEGO — Whatever expectations the Dodgers have for A.J. Pollock’s return to action, they are keeping them to themselves.
Pollock underwent surgery Thursday to remove a plate and screws from his right elbow, hardware that was inserted after he fractured his elbow in 2016. Pollock is home “resting and recovering,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said, and still taking antibiotics to treat a bacterial infection in the bursa sac in that elbow.
