Developer hits pause button on One Metro West project in Costa Mesa

Developer Rose Equities has asked Costa Mesa to postpone consideration of One Metro West, a 15.23-acre project that would add 1,057 apartments, 25,000 square feet of offices and 6,000 square feet of retail shops off Sunflower Avenue next to SOCO.
The project won the Planning Commission’s support in May and was expected to go to the City Council soon after for final approval. But the developer sought and received a delay until November.
