Destroyed evidence could derail third trial for man twice convicted in Riverside County double homicide

A man twice convicted in a 23-year-old double-murder in Riverside County is seeking to avoid a third trial on grounds that prosecutors withheld a videotaped interview with a witness who said two other people confessed to the killings.
