Democrats debate immigration during state party convention in Long Beach

Immigration took center stage Saturday as eight of the Democrats’ top candidates for president in 2020 fielded questions during the Real America presidential forum at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.
The sold out-forum, on Nov. 16, was billed as the highlight of the California Democratic Party’s 2019 Endorsing Convention, which has drawn an estimated 5,000 delegates, volunteers and observers to Long Beach this weekend.
