Del Worsham embraces nostalgia at NHRA Winternationals

If there ever was a poster boy for the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, it would strongly resemble Del Worsham. He’s a native Southern Californian who has been behind the wheel 26 of his 50 years (come Sunday) and a world champion in two categories.
Worsham finished out of the top 10 (14th) for just the third time since 1999. It resulted in a winter offseason of hard work in preparation for the season-opening Winternationals, which got underway Thursday. Final eliminations begin Sunday
