Deep-water drone finds body of missing diver off Long Beach coast

A deep-dive drone has found the body of a diver who sank Saturday in 270 feet of water next to an oil platform off Long Beach.
The body was found about 7:40 a.m. Sunday by a sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail deep-dive cadre using an underwater remotely operated vehicle, said Deputy Joe Gordon of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
