Deep 3.7-magnitude earthquake hits Compton

COMPTON — A earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 struck at 12:19 a.m. Friday in Compton with a preliminary depth of 15 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The earthquake was felt from Simi Valley to Escondido, ABC7 reported.
