Daxon: Investments into spaces for teens

Did you know Brea has not one, but two, teen centers?
The newest is at Brea Junior High. It opened in September 2012 for students to use before school from 7 to 8 a.m, during lunch and after school from 3 to 6 p.m.
Parents pay  $270 per school year for the before- and after-school services, $210 for after school only and $75 for before school only. All plans include lunches, and the program’s director, Rebecca Schaffer Smith, said they also sponsor students to come after school for ex
