Darnay Holmes steps up for UCLA defense against high-powered Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. — To any offense trying to test Darnay Holmes, just watch how the sophomore cornerback responded to Oklahoma’s deep shot on the first play of last Saturday’s game.
After Holmes broke up a deep pass intended for Marquise Brown, the UCLA cornerback took a looping path back to the line of scrimmage, bouncing as much as he was jogging. The crowd roared for a pass interference. Holmes shook a single finger in the air.
