Daniel Esparza breaks Sonora scoring record in win over Troy

LA HABRA – Sonora sophomore Daniel Esparza broke a 19-year old school record as his 45 points helped the Raiders defeat Troy 77-62 on Friday night.
The record had been 43 points set by Robert Abreu in 2000.
Sonora coach Mike Murphy was in awe of his young, prolific scorer.
