Daily pickups now for ballots in LA County drop-off boxes

As a result of someone setting fire to a ballot drop-off box in Baldwin Park, ballots from over 400 drop-off boxes in Los Angeles County will now be collected daily, officials said Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The change was announced during an online press conference with Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor Hilda Solis and Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder Dean Logan. He said the ballots previously were collected from the boxes every 48 hours.
