Curt Seeden: First Fountain Valley bridge to come down starting Friday

Unless you’ve been on an extended trip to Europe — maybe Mars — you by now probably are aware that lots of bridges are being taken down in Orange County over the next several years.
The Orange County Transportation Authority eeds to build new bridges that will accommodate additional traffic lanes on the 405 Freeway. The 405 is being widened in Orange County to improve traffic flow by increasing freeway capacity. Doing so also meets state and federal standards.
