Craftsman design transforms a Capistrano Beach bungalow

For almost 40 years, Scott and Jeanette Nelson and their now-grown family have lived in a rustic Craftsman-style home at the rear of the quarter-acre lot they purchased in Capistrano Beach/Dana Point back in 1980.
The couple actually moved that 1,650-square-foot house from a farm in Orange, first cutting it in half to transport it, then spending over a year reconstructing the home, which is now almost 100 years old.
