Costa Mesa woman dies in 55 freeway crash

A 31-year-old woman died early Monday morning, Nov. 27, in a crash on the 55 freeway in Santa Ana.
About 12:30 a.m., the woman was driving her car on the northbound 55 freeway north of Warner Avenue at the time, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol.
For unknown reasons, the woman drove her car into the back of another vehicle, hitting it and losing control of the vehicle. The car spun out and came to rest in the left-most lane, pointing westward but was struck by a third car
