Costa Mesa homebuying jumps 16% to start 2017

Homebuying in Costa Mesa in 2017’s first three months easily beat the countywide sales pace.
How did the local residential real estate market start the year? Using CoreLogic data, we compared homebuying patterns from January to March from this year and 2016.
Sales in Costa Mesa rose as 243 residences sold in the past 12 months vs. 209 a year ago.
That’s a gain of 16.3 percent vs. 3.5 percent countywide.
