Costa Mesa bank hit twice in two months

COSTA MESA — The same bank in the city has been hit by robbers twice in two months, according to Costa Mesa police.
The U.S. Bank branch inside of an Albertsons was first hit at 3:46 p.m. on May 15, Lt. Victor Bakkila said.
The man wore a grey hoodie and did not have a weapon. He demanded money using a note. He left with $16,729 –  a large deposit was being made at the time.
