Coronavirus state tracker: ICU occupancy declines 18.3% in the last 14 days

According to the California COVID-19 dashboard there are 5,561 patients hospitalized (confirmed and suspected) in California on Tuesday, Aug. 25. This is a decrease of 1,198 patients (17.7%) over the last 14 days.
The state is reporting that 31% of its ICU beds are available, 65% of its ventilators are available and ICUs occupancy has declined by 18.3% in the last 14 days.
The state had conducted 1,576,227 tests in the last 14 days with a 6.3% test positivity rate. There have been more than 10.7
