Coronavirus slowdown: Orange County toll road traffic plunges 67%
Orange County’s toll roads lost two-third of their traffic in the coronavirus “stay at home” era.
My trusty spreadsheet, filled with data from the Transportation Corridor Agencies and Orange County Transportation Authority, found Orange County drivers took 728,495 trips on the three local toll roads in the last week of March — that’s down 67% from the pre-coronavirus travel pace and off from 1.06 million trips the previous seven days.
