Coronavirus: Pa’s Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach won’t open for the first time in 45 years
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed yet another Long Beach tradition.
Pa’s Pumpkin Patch, which typically opens at the end of September annually to mark the start of the Halloween season, will not operate this year. It’s the first time in 45 years the patch won’t open, owner Gail Thacker said in a Monday, Sept. 28, phone interview.
“It’s so sad,” she said.
