Coronavirus: Orange County approaches 16,000 tested, 3 new deaths reported April 16

The Orange County Health Care Agency reported 1,425 confirmed cases of the coronavirus as of Thursday, April 16.
Three more people in Orange County have died from the virus, according to the update. That makes 25 people in a county of more than 3.2 million.
Statewide there have been more than 750 deaths attributed to COVID-19 as of April 16. California had 706 reported deaths from influenza reported between Sept. 29 and March 21.
