Coronavirus: 6 new deaths, 209 new cases in Orange County reported on Oct. 2

The Orange County Health Care Agency reported 209 new cases of the coronavirus on Friday, Oct. 2, increasing the cumulative total to 54,118 cases.
The seven-day average for new daily cases in the county is 156 per day, down from a peak of 857 per day on July 12.
The county has had an estimated 5,173 cases in the last 30 days.
