Containment on Canyon Fire grows to 45 percent, held at 2,000 acres

After four days of battling the Canyon Fire in the hills above a Corona neighborhood, firefighters have increased containment to 45 percent, officials said Thursday morning.
About 1,900 firefighters and personnel worked to battle back the blaze which was ignited Monday afternoon.
“Firefighters are contining to build and reinforce fire line, mop up hot spots and patrol the fireperimeter. All evacuation orders have been lifted,” according to a news release from the Orange County Fire A
