Compromise means securing our borders

Every October, we pause to celebrate the discovery of America and though much has changed over the years, America continues to be a beacon of freedom, hope and democracy for millions across the world. America is exceptional not just because of the good we have done in the world, but because of the unique heritage that comes along with being a nation of immigrants. There is no other country so diverse; virtually all of our family trees root back to another country. We are proud of this heritage a
