Commuter alert: 5 Freeway lane and ramp closures announced

Caltrans has announced overnight lane and ramp closures from Wednesday through Friday on the 5 Freeway between Artesia and Norwalk boulevards as part of the ongoing 5 Freeway widening project between the 605 Freeway and the Orange County border.
The closures will allow for shifting of freeway lanes and re-striping.
Up to two lanes of the northbound 5 Freeway from Valley View Avenue to Norwalk Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. At least one lane will remain o
