Columnist: America needs Disney’s help to promote the COVID-19 vaccine

The recent surge in new coronavirus cases in California and around the country has eliminated any hope that major theme parks in the state might reopen before the end of the year. In Disney’s most recent investor conference call, CEO Bob Chapek said that the company does not expect the Disneyland Resort’s parks to reopen to guests before 2021.
At this point, even if the parks and their allies could perusade Gov. Gavin Newsom to allow their return in the state’s Tier 3, as the p
