Clippers make a qualifying offer to center Ivica Zubac

The Clippers have made a qualifying offer to 22-year-old center Ivica Zubac, making him a restricted free agent, according to the Athletic’s Shams Charania. The team did not, however, extend a qualifying offer to Johnathan Motley, who becomes an unrestricted free agent, per Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes.
If Zubac agrees to a deal with another team, the Clippers can choose to match that offer, keeping him in Los Angeles. Motley is free to sign with any team.
