Clippers are at a size disadvantage without Danilo Gallinari in the lineup
LOS ANGELES — Life without Danilo Gallinari is requiring the Clippers to think small.
Counting the Jan. 18 game against Golden State, when Gallinari was removed early because of the back spasms that have sidelined him for the seven games since, the Clippers are 4-4 without the 6-foot-10 forward.
He is improving, Coach Doc Rivers said, and is expected to join the Clippers at an as-yet-undetermined date during their six-game, 11-day trip, which begins Saturday in Detroit.
