Clayton Kershaw won’t start NLCS Game 2; Gonsolin will make first postseason appearance
The Dodgers announced Tuesday that scheduled starter Clayton Kershaw wouldn’t pitch Game 2 of the National League Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves because of back spasms.
Right-hander Tony Gonsolin will replace him. Gonsolin will be making his postseason debut. His last game appearance was on Sept. 26.
The Dodgers trail the best-of-seven series 0-1 after Monday’s 5-1 loss to the Braves.
