Cities all run from hosting the 2020 Republican National Convention

Something strange is going on with the 2020 Republican National Convention. Cities all across the country are furiously competing for the right not to host it.
The Republican National Committee’s original deadline for bids was Feb. 28, and the silence was deafening.
