CIF softball preview: Pacifica storms to Empire League title for late coach

The latest accomplishment by Pacifica’s softball team certainly would have made Coach Mark Campbell proud.
Now, the Mariners want to keep on rolling in the postseason.
Pacifica, which dedicated the season to its late coach, recaptured the Empire League title on Thursday and storms into the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 playoffs riding a season-long nine-game winning streak.
