Chef Bruno Serato’s PastaThon fundraiser exceeds goals

Donors gave more cash, boxes of pasta and jars of sauce than organizers hoped for at the Dec. 8 PastaThon, a fundraiser for a charity that feeds children in need.
Final totals show the event, organized by chef Bruno Serato, raised $462,852 and collected 102,658 pounds of pasta and sauce this year; the goals were $350,000 and 100,000 pounds.
