Chargers vs. Chicago Bears hinges on offensive line
CHICAGO — Michael Schofield went through a roller coaster of emotions as he revisited his wife’s historic achievement while wrapping his hands in the Chargers’ locker room before practice Wednesday.
Nine months have gone by since Kendall Coyne Schofield became the first woman to compete in an NHL All-Star skills event, but her husband was still a nervous wreck talking about it.
“I got goosebumps just thinking about it,” the Chargers’ starting right guard said.
