Chargers, Denzel Perryman agree to 2-year contract extension
Denzel Perryman won’t be hitting the open market after all.
The Chargers agreed to terms on a two-year extension with their top middle linebacker, multiple sources confirmed Friday. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport first reported the new deal.
Perryman was set to become an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday, but will now continue his career with the Chargers, who selected him in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft.
