Chapman postpones commencement until coronavirus concerns clear

Chapman University officials are postponing commencement scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, saying they will watch for a replacement date.
“The planning will now begin while we continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19,” Chapman President Daniele Struppa said on Monday, March 30, in the university’s daily update to its campus community. “The challenge will be to find a date that will provide a safe and healthy event, while providing enough advanced notice to make t
