Chad Mayes is out as Assembly Republican leader
Assemblyman Chad Mayes is no longer leader of the California State Assembly’s 25 Republicans, capping weeks of intraparty fighting that brought tremendous pressure on the Yucca Valley assemblyman to step aside as he urged the state GOP to plot a new course to political relevancy.
