Chaak, the second restaurant by the owners of Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen, will open Aug. 29 in Tustin

The much-anticipated second restaurant from one of Orange County’s premier advocates of Mexican regional cuisine will debut on Wednesday, Aug, 29 when Chef Gabbi Patrick and her husband Ed, co-owners of Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen in Orange, host the grand opening of Chaak  in Tustin.
As she does with all her menu items, Patrick will start with traditional recipes and give them her own contemporary twist. The cuisine will draw on the rich Mayan culture of her family’s Yuc
