Cerritos, Long Beach defendants plead guilty in dine-and-dash that turned violent

A 26-year-old Cerritos man who ran over a waitress in a dine-and-dash at an Anaheim-area restaurant pleaded guilty Monday and was immediately sentenced to a year in jail, or time already served. Pellum pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon, according to court records.
